The Cochrane Classic Vintage Snowmobile Museum traces Cochrane’s snowmobile history from the 1950s to present day. Showcasing close to 100 vintage sleds, the museum also archives historic photographs and unique memorabilia.
The Museum is the largest of its kind in Ontario – and no wonder. Cochrane was also the site of the very first snowmobile dealership, and is known for having the best snowmobile trails in the province.
The museum’s members are proud of their snowmobile heritage and have kept their classic sleds in pristine condition. The collection is lovingly displayed in a brand new facility, built specifically to showcase the sleds, adjacent to the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat, close to beautiful downtown Cochrane.
