For an even deeper experience, join our 5-day expedition from Cochrane to Fort Albany and back, riding the legendary A103 and power lines to Onakawana Camp before following the Moose River and winter road into Moose Factory and Moosonee. Stay at CC’s Bed & Rest Guesthouse in Kashechewan, visit the communities of Kashechewan and Fort Albany, venture out onto the bay, and immerse yourself in rich Indigenous culture. Snow Train Tour (Polar Bear Express)
From Cochrane to Moosonee. Come back on the Polar Bear Express. First day, we leave from Cochrane and make our way to Onakawana Camp. On the second day, we take it slow! We will go for a small ride on the Abitibi river and we will do some ice fishing. On the last day, we make our way to Moosonee, go ride on James Bay and make our way back to Cochrane on the train.
Up the Coast – Snowmobile Trip
From Cochrane to Fort Albany and back in 5 days. Ride the A103 and power lines to Onakawana Camp on the first day. On the 1st day, ride power lines and the Moose River as well as the winter road on the second day. Go through Moose Factory and Moosonee. Sleep at CC's Bed & Rest Guesthouse in Kashechewan. On the 3rd day, visit both communities Kashechewan and Fort Albany as well as going out onto the bay. Spend a night learning about Indigenous culture. On the 4th day, ride back to Onakawana Camp. On the 5th day, ride back to Smooth Rock/Cochrane.
