Home to the Polar Bear Habitat, a world-class polar bear rehabilitation facility, and the Tim Horton Events Centre, Cochrane offers both historical and modern attractions and services for its residents and visitors. It’s built on physical beauty, cultural and recreational amenity. When touring the Cochrane and area, visitors participate in four-season activities such as fishing, kayaking, swimming in copious local and district lakes, camping in the Boreal Forest, and snowmobiling on 650 kilometres of groomed trails with the longest season around.
