Cochrane, Ontario is the home of a beautiful recreational facility called the Tim Horton Events Centre. Most Canadians know the name Tim Horton – not all know that he was an elite National Hockey League player from our beautiful hometown.

A member of the Hockey Hall of Fame who founded the Tim Hortons doughnut and coffee shop chain back in 1964.
