You can find the Tim Horton Museum housed inside the Tim Horton Events Centre. This museum is dedicated to hometown hero, Tim Horton. Born here in 1930, Horton made his name in the National Hockey League, as well as creating his own coffee and doughnut franchise.
Memorabilia includes photographs, books, jerseys, and 568 hockey pucks representing the number of regular season and playoff points the hockey great scored while playing in the NHL – including his time playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs when they won Stanley Cups in 1962, 1963, 1964, and 1967. There is also a short film about his hockey playing days.
